Terms of Service

Mitools is a curated directory of tools for creative work, run by Odama. Browsing it needs no account. An account lets you save tools to a list and find that list again on any device.

The listings are our editorial opinion. We are not the maker of the tools listed, we do not run them, and we take nothing from you on their behalf, following a link out of here puts you under that tool's own terms and pricing, not ours.

• You need to be at least 13 years old, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live.
• Give us an email address that is really yours. It is how we confirm the account is too, and how you get back in if you forget the password.
• Keep the password to yourself. Anything done from your account is treated as done by you, so tell us at once if you think someone else has got in and change the password, which signs every other session out.
• One account per person. Don't create them with scripts, and don't create them for other people.

Don't do any of the following:

• Scrape, mirror or republish the directory as a whole. Linking to a listing is welcome; copying the collection is not.
• Try to reach data that is not yours, another account, the admin, or anything behind it.
• Probe, overload or interfere with the site, or work around its rate limits.
• Use the submission form for spam, for a tool you have no connection to and have not used, or for anything unlawful.

We can suspend or close an account that does these things, and generally will.

Anyone can suggest a tool. Doing so gives us permission to publish what you sent such as the name, the description, the link and the artwork, as part of the directory, and to edit it so it reads like the rest of the listings.

Only send material you are entitled to send. Every submission is reviewed by a person, most are declined, and we owe no explanation for a decision, though you will be told what it was.

The design of this site, its editorial writing and the arrangement of the directory are ours. The tools, their names and their logos belong to whoever made them and appear here as references to them, not as claims on them.

If something of yours is here and you would rather it were not, write to hello@odama.io and we will take it down.

The site is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will always be available, that a listing is accurate or current, or that a tool listed here is right for you or safe to use. Judge a tool on its own merits before you trust it with your work.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss that follows from using the site or a tool found through it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Close your account whenever you like, write to us and it, and the list attached to it, will be erased. We may close an account that breaks these terms, and may stop offering the service altogether, in which case we will give notice by email to anyone who has an account.

These terms may change. When they change in substance, account holders are told by email before it takes effect and the date at the top moves. Carrying on using the site after that means the new version applies; if you would rather not, close the account.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, and any dispute belongs to the courts there. Your privacy is covered separately by the Privacy Policy, which forms part of this agreement.
